Jeff and Klo were married in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1985. Jeff joined the Air Force shortly after that. Klo was excited because they were going to be able to “see the world.” Instead, they were stationed at Offut Air Force Base for their entire tour.

When Jeff got out of the Air Force, the couple moved back to Lincoln for a couple of years and then to Grand Island with Klo’s job.

Jeff started working at the Grand Island Veteran’s Home and would continue there for over 20 years. When they chose to move the Veteran’s Home to Kearney, Jeff and Klo took the opportunity to move back to Lincoln.

During the years in Grand Island, Klo started her scrapbooking business. She owned a store for several years, until illness made it necessary to close. Fortunately, she was able to continue doing her crops, so she didn’t miss all of her friends as much. During this time, Klo started working for Pazzles and traveling for them. This is when she finally got to “see the world.”

In 2018, she was able to fulfill her 20-year dream of having a Craft Retreat House, when Jeff and Klo were able to purchase the home that Jeff grew up in. In addition to the Scrapping USA Crops and The Oxford Cottage Retreat House, Slightly Off…the Cutting Edge is also helping to keep Klo out of trouble…okay, maybe not completely, but mostly.

When not busy with crops, retreats, and Slightly Off…the Cutting Edge, Jeff and Klo enjoy spending time with their 4 grown children and 16 grandchildren (including several bonus grandchildren).

They are so grateful to everyone that has supported them throughout the years and feel very blessed by the friendships that have been created during that time as well.
